Basic Intro

Welcome to the land of the Buddha, join our Nepal Buddhist culture tour in which we take you to some of the important Buddhist sites in the world, including the birthplace of Buddha-Lumbini. The tour combines both the nature and cultural aspects of touring in Nepal, starting from Kathmandu the cultural a historical center of Nepal. Kathmandu has its brand of cultural life which is based on a unique mixture of different religions and faiths. In Kathmandu, we visit the Bouddhanath Stupa, Swyambhunath Stupa, and many other important Buddhist monasteries. Then we head toward Pokhara the adventure capital of Nepal. In Pokhara, along with some natural sites, we pay our visit to the World Peace Stupa which was built just after World War II for peace, and the Tibetan Refugee Center to get a first-hand experience of the Tibetan Buddhist lifestyle. Then we drive further southwest to the birthplace of Buddha – Lumbini, devoting one full in discovering the various cultural and spiritual sites of Lumbini we drive back to Kathmandu for the return flight.

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel

The first day of our tour starts from the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu. Kathmandu is a beautiful city that is famous for its religious sites. There are altogether 15 cultural sites in Nepal. Kathmandu is one of the most modern cities in Nepal. On the first day of the tour, you will fly to Kathmandu. After you reach Kathmandu, our staff member will hold a placard with your name written on it. Then, you will transfer to a hotel. You can spend your time at the hotel. If you consider it, you could explore the beautiful city too.

The next day, we visit different Buddhist stupas. We visit Boudhanath Stupa. The stupa is on the lane from Tibet, which enters the Kathmandu Valley by the Sankhu Village in the upper east corner and proceeds to the most antiquated and more modest stupa of Chabahil named Charumati Stupa. We may also visit Swayambhunath Temple. Swayambhunath Stupa is an ancient religious site of the Buddhist religion. Swayambhunath is a beautiful place where you will see the eyes of Buddha painted all over the top of stupas. We would suggest you be aware of monkeys. Due to a lot of monkeys in this temple, it is also called Monkey Temple. Then, we take a tour to Namobuddha. Namobuddha is a beautiful place with a clean and fresh environment. It is one of the silent and clean places where you can meditate without any disturbance. Namobuddha lies in the Kavre district, 40 km away from the core of Kathmandu city. It will take around 3 to 4 hours from Kathmandu to reach Namobuddha if you take a local bus. But, if you prefer a taxi, you will reach in about 2 hours. We explore the area and spend the night in Namobuddha.

Today we drive to Pharping. Pharping is a little Newar town lying over the Bagmati waterway. It is currently part of the Dakshinkali Municipality. Pharping lies headed straight toward Dakshinkali, and it's not difficult to visit the two towns in a day by taxi, transport, or motorbike. Pharping is famous for its first hydropower Chandra Giri Griha. It is the first hydropower in Nepal and the second hydropower in the whole of Asia. There are two caves in Pharping. One is called Asura cave, and another is Yanglesho. Then, we also explore the town. You get opportunities to interact with the local people from the village. We stay overnight in the monastery.

After you wake up, you will see the beautiful sunrise in Pharping. Then, we drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is the best place in Nepal to travel. The thakali food will make you stay here forever. You can also enjoy paragliding and see the beautiful views. You don't want to miss the sunrise in Sarangkot. The perfect sun rising will make it hard for you to believe this is an unrealistic painting of nature. Pokhara is one of the must-visit places in Nepal.

Day 5 : Pokhara Sightseeing

Today, we wake up early to visit Sarangkot. On the way, we enjoy the majestic view of Mountain Annapurna. It is a short journey from Pokhara to Sarangkot. It is a mainstream vacation location for the individuals who show up in Pokhara. Sarangkot is known for all-encompassing Himalayan perspectives on Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu. It additionally gives an extensive view of the city of Pokhara, from the outrageous north toward the south, as well as the Phewa Lake. Day 7 : Explore Birthplace of Lord Buddha (Lumbini)

After early morning breakfast, we drive our way back to Kathmandu. We head back to Kathmandu and celebrate our completion of the excursion. If you want to enjoy and explore the city even better, then this is the time. There is lots but idle time yet exchange messages with partners in crime and arrange the photographs. It is your last day in Kathmandu, and you should enjoy your last day in the city.

This day is not part of our trekking. Today you will fly back to your home and leave the city. You can also get ready for your next trip if you like. We will wish you the safest journey.
