Basic Intro

The most popular valleys on the southern Himalayan slopes are Kathmandu and Pokhara. While Kathmandu is Nepal's cultural capital, Pokhara, with three gorgeous lakes nearby, offers the greatest of Himalayan views. For people with limited time, the Kathmandu Pokhara tour is the ideal Nepal tour. Short treks or day walks from Kathmandu or Pokhara provide a better understanding of Nepalese rural life.

The journey could be tailored to last four days or longer. From both Kathmandu and Pokhara, adventure activities such as paragliding, bungee jumping, helicopter flights to base camps, and Everest sightseeing flights are available to see the Himalayas. Arrival, Transfer to Hotel.

Day 1 : Arrival, Transfer to Hotel.

According to your flight detail, you will be greeted by our representative at international airport with your name and Himalayan Club Tours and Travel written on it. Then, we will assist you in transfer to Hotel where you are be welcomed by tea/coffee. At evening we have a welcome dinner organized by our team to get to know each other. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Kathmandu Heritage Sightseeing.

Day 2 : Kathmandu Heritage Sightseeing.

After short introduction with our tour guide, today we are having tour to Kathmandu UNSCEO world heritage site with our tour guide which include Pashupatinath Temple “Nepal biggest Hindu temple” it is also place for the body crimination of Hindu religion. Then we drive to Bouddhanath stupa whch is nearby Pasupatinath temple. Bouddhanath is Asian biggest stupa. It was damage by earthquake on 2015 AD however, it is completely repaired recently. Then after we drive to Swyambhunath stupa, popularly known by “monkey temple” this stupa is on the small where we can see the whole Kathmandu valley from there. At last we drive to Patan durbar square, “Ancient Royal Palace”. Inside the square you can see different Hindu temple which are Bhimsen temple, Vishwonath temple, Taleju Bhawani temple and Krishna Temple which is most popular temple among them. Beside it you can study the Newari architecture, arts and their culture where, our tour guide help you to describe about its history of every place. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Drive to Pokhara 6-7 hrs drive

Day 3 : Drive to Pokhara 6-7 hrs drive

We walk to Tourist Bus Park early in the morning form the hotel with a packed breakfast, which is about a minute from the hotel. I take about 6-7 hours drive from with some same lunch breaks and photo while travelling. The view is amazing, we follow the Prithivi highway. After long drive from Kathmandu we will be at Pokhara “Lake Side City”. It is also popularly known by entry gate of trekking. After check – in at the hotel we can spend some quality time in the bank of Phewa Lake and enjoy the view with lunch. We can also do some boating in Phewa Lake. Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 4 : Pokhara full day sightseeing.

We drive to Sarankot in early morning for sunrise view. It takes about one and half hour drive from the hotel. This is the popular view point for Pokhara to see the beauty of Himalayan. We can see the closer and stunning view of Mt. Annapurna south, Mt. Fishtail, Mt. Dhaulagiri and etc. alone with ruler village, Pokhara city and Phewa Lake. This hill is also popular for the paragliding, hiking and bike tour. We spend some time on the hill and drive back to hotel. While on the way we get opportunity to see the Bindabasini temple located in the North side of the city. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga. Then, we drive back to our hotel for breakfast. After rest for some hour we again drive to Davis Fall “Popular Waterfall”, Gupteshwor cave, Seti River “Nepal deepest river” and in evening we drive to Peace Stupa hill for sunset. Peace Stupa is Buddhist stupa build just after world war second. We enjoy amazing sunset and view of Phewa Lake and Pokhara city. We drive back to hotel and stay overnight at Pokhara.
Drive back to Nagarkot via Bhaktapur 7-8 hour.

Day 5 : Drive back to Nagarkot via Bhaktapur 7-8 hour.

We drive back to Nagarkot following the same Prithivi highway after breakfast at hotel. While driving to Nagarkot we do Bhaktapur for Sightseeing, highly visited site in Kathmandu valley and popularly known by Bhaktapur durbar square. This UNESCO world heritage site place is popular for its historical heritage, religious value, art, culture traditional and their unique architecture. We can find old age traditional village house, pagoda style temple, monuments etc which are build in different time period which make Bhaktapur more attractive. Fifty-five window palace is one of the most touristic attractions of the place. It was built on 17th century by King Bhupendra Malla. It attracts tourist with its unique arts and beautiful sculptural design. It has golden gate and a temple on the side of the palace. Nyatapola temple is another major attraction of Bhaktapur. It is the tallest pagoda temple in Nepal with five storey and built with clay brick and woods. Pottery square is also one of the popular sites of Bhaktapur palace. This is famous for artistically shape potteries made out of clay. This is beautiful place to see the earthenwares made with the raw clay by hand or wheel. Bhairavnath Temple, Golden gate, Lion’s gate and etc are also some of the major attaraction of the Bhaktapur Durbar Square. We can also have our lunch at the Bhaktapur then we drive hotel in Nagarkot. Nagarkot is the hilly area from where we can see the full range of Himalayan of Mt. Annapurna range, Mt. Makalu Range, Ganesh himal range, Langtang himal range and many more peaks. Beside it we can encounter the beautiful village, green hills, landscape, etc. This place is basically popular for Sunrise and Sunset view. So, after check-in at hotel we drive to Nagarkot view point for enjoy the sunset. Overnight at Nagarkot.

Day 6 : Nagarkot sunrise and Departure.

We wake up early in the morning and drive to view point for sunrise, here we get the stunning view of sunrise from the mountain and see the first ray of sun come to mountain and makes white peak gold which is amazing and unforgettable. We spend some hour at the place taking photo/video and having tea. Then we go back to Hotel for our breakfast. After having breakfast at hotel our office staff will drop you at airport before 2 hours of your actual flight, with some good memory about us and unforgettable memories about tour.

The best time is from Mid-September - December but the tour could be done throughout winter as the touring places are in lower valleys. All accommodation with breakfast and taxes included.
